Frequently Asked Questions

What preparations are needed for a Hide & SEE 3D/4D session?

Drink plenty of water to help ensure ample amounts of fluid around your baby, which in turn aids in clearer amniotic fluid & beautiful ultrasound images! It's important to drink more water, weeks before your session!

Take note of what foods, snacks, juices, movements, dancing, & even music gets your little one to spring into action!

We are mobile & provide convenience directly to your door! Please ensure that the designated area for the ultrasound session has enough room for the mother, visitors, the Hide & SEE staff, & our equipment.

When is the best time frame for me to book an appointment?

We provide service to all expecting mothers from nine (9) weeks of pregnancy all the way up until delivery! You can book an appointment to find out if you are expecting, what the gender of your baby is, & there will be an opportunity to bond with your baby during an ultrasound session!

Can I have visitors with me during my session?

Yes, everyone must wear a mask & practice social distancing. We will check temperatures upon arrival.

Will these ultrasounds take the place of my doctor's appointments?

No, this is an elective service. You will still need a regular OB/GYN appointment with your provider. Release waivers will be provided & ready for a signature before any service is rendered.

Will I be able to see the gender of my baby?

Gender determination is based on the cooperation of your baby. We will do our best to determine your baby's gender. However, if we are unsuccessful, we can provide another gender session free of charge at a later date!

What equipment will be used during my session?

We are professionally trained & equipped to use the M7 Advanced Hand-carried Diagnostic Ultrasound System & the supporting software to ensure high quality & accuracy during your session.

What is a 2D, 3D, 4D ultrasound?

Our ultrasound sessions provide parents a memorable opportunity to bond with, view, & hear the heartbeat of their baby, capture images to share with family & friends. 2D is the two-dimensional, black & white images of your baby. 3D is the three-dimensional image of your baby & 4D is the “movie-like”, live video movements of your baby.

Are there any risks to my baby or me?

The FDA states that there are no known negative effects of ultrasounds as they're generally considered safe with very low risks, to trained professionals.

As the COVID-19 pandemic continues, what preventative actions are you taking to ensure the safety of me, my child, and your staff?

Due to the nature of this pandemic, we have a few preventative measures. Upon entering your residence, we have disposable shoe covers for our staff, we will sanitize our hands, & everyone present will have their temperatures checked. We ask that if you feel sick or anyone in your home is sick, please reschedule your appointment. We also ask that if you or someone in your residence has come in contact with a person with a positive COVID-19 test, you must reschedule & abide by the CDC guidelines. We reserve the right to reschedule your appointment if we arrive & someone is unwell.
